It's a new online boutique that holds monthly themed challenges allowing designers to submit sketches of designs that correlate with the chosen theme. The public votes on the designs, and the lucky winner of the challenge not only receives a grand prize of USD 500 but also royalties for every design that makes a sale.
It's a great opportunity if you want people to recognize your creativity and talent. Definitely check it out and join the challenges to see if your designs sell on the market!

Recently, I got asked to design a dress for the current theme of "Bridesmaid" and here is what I came up with.
I definitely wanted to design a modern and trendy dress that would still be appropriate for a wedding.
It seems as if cropped tops still aren't going anywhere this year so I incorporated that to this design. It's not a two piece dress, however the colours and the cut of the dress does give it that kind of illusion.
Inspired by the Chanel 2014 Haute Couture, I think the loose-fitted cropped top emphasises the waist area, making it appear smaller that what it seems.
The rest of the dress is figure hugging to contrast the top which shows off the figure's curves in a classy and modest way.
